If you’ve been following along for a while now, you know that my favorite Christmas gift last year was the Liberty of London advent calendar my husband got me. Filled with fabulous products, it was such a joy to open every day last December!
I’ve been meaning to write a post on my favorites, and didn’t get around to it until now #momlife #bossgirllife The good news is, now I can report to you the products I’m STILL using after almost a year!
- Augustinus Bader, The Rich Cream
I’ve never been super picky about my night cream, just looking for something hydrating, but swapping them up without a clear winner. The Rich Cream by Augustinus Bader was an immediate game changer. Not only was it hydrating, but my skin glowed. The company says the Rich Cream has ‘blend of plant oils and cutting edge science to stimulate cell renewal and boost youthfulness and radiance”, and I will definitely back up this description. I only used it once a day, not the recommended twice a day, and stopped when it got hot outside. I think it is perfect to use in the winter, and just ordered my next jar!
- Dr. Sebagh Serum Repair - Next on my list of favorites is this fantastic hyaluronic acid serum by Dr. Sebagh. This goodie has won multiple awards and is great to use day or night. I use it both day and night because my results were so good. As promised, my skin looked plumper, smoother, and tighter - if it were’t so expensive I would buy a giant tub and try it full body;)
- Herbivore Botanicals, Prism 20% AHA 5% BHA Exfoliating Glow Facial - my motto for taking care of my face could be ‘burn it off before is gets comfortable’, so I love a good exfoliating mask to alternate with my retin A, and I found this one to be very brightening plus it was relatively gentle, which is great in the winter in CO:)
Other things in the advent calendar that I love, but aren’t in daily rotation: a Diptyque candle that is super yummy, and a fun makeup pouch made from famed Liberty’s of London fabric. I can’t wait to see what goodies are in this year’s calendar, and if you get one too I’d love to hear what your favorites are!
